Visitors!

Two weeks past Chris and I headed to the airport to pick up the Burminwinkletons! We have been planning this visit since we left Australia in January, so needless to say we were super excited that the time had arrived!

One really fabulous thing about traveling with Christine is that she does all the blogging work for me. For the last week, I've woken up every morning excited to see what I had done the day before already blogged for me. In case you don't read hers here's a quick reference.

We had two fantastic weeks. Lots of laughing, eating, and sightseeing. It was hard to see our friends go, but Charlie gave them a proper send off anyway.

Happy Birthday Michelle

Thursday was my 2nd birthday in Europe, that seems odd to say. I woke up to texts from my besties back home with fun pics. Then it was off to work. I got off the bus at the central station and walked to work from there, it's about a mile and a half. It was a good morning.

 

There's a bakery I pass a lot, and I decided today was the day I'd pop in. I got a super tasty scone with cream cheese and marmalade.

 

 

Google never forgets..

While I was at work, Chris was slaving away in the kitchen preparing Cuban. There was black beans and rice, roasted pork, and a fantastic chocolate, chili, coffee sauce. We had some friends over and enjoyed! Of course friends and family from around the world sent birthday wishes, which was the best part, that and it was the last day I have to work for two weeks, woohoo!!
